One of the great things YHF has always looked to is to help build our community and change the lives of the needy through healthcare, education, reconstruction, law, justice and security administration, he said.
Mr Karim said the Police Service is an important institution that protects the nation and there was the need to ensure they were very well equipped to fight crime in the society.
The little effort we make as individuals and institutions to assist the police is what helps makes their work flexible , he said, adding that while we donate to the Madina Police Service a set of furniture, generator and also assist them in building their new office, we hope to donate more to assist in the area of crime prevention .
He explained that YHF donation of food items, educational materials and cash to students who had been under the foundation s care since its inception was a little effort to help change the lives of the children forever.
We also hope the printer and accessories donated to the Madina Social Welfare would be used to benefit the society , he stated.
Mr Karim said that as part of the social responsibilities of YHF, they are also providing the Madina Communities with portable water through the Community Water Project, of which Madina New Road had been chosen for the pilot project.
He appealed to the public to work hand in hand with YHF help change the lives of underprivileged in society.
Superintendent Joe Owusu-Bempah, who received the items, said the donation had come at a very crucial and appropriate time when there is power outage crisis in the country.
When there is power outage, Madina Police Service is still going to render its services to the Madina community and its environs through the support of YHF. I assure the generator would be put into good use .
Supt Owusu-Bempah said the whole division had no generator, but the intervention of YHF had come to help them fight crime and enhance work and lives of prisoners.
He said the presentation was not the first time YHF was assisting to the Madina Police Service with the aim of enhancing their efficiency and professional capacity.
