Skills and knowledge are the driving forces of economic growth and social development for any country. Persons with higher and better levels of skills adjust more effectively to the challenges and opportunities they face. Thereby making them grow to their full potential.
At Young Heart Foundation, we believe that poverty is not natural, it is a product of chance and thereby can be overcome. We seek to create avenues where people; especially the vulnerable can face challenges that prevents them from living a full life. This is in line with our mission and vision statements.
It is in this respect that we have rolled out the empowerment Module which mainly focuses on assisting the vulnerable in accessing community resources, developing community development strategies and skill development in variety of areas as well as job placements opportunities
We encourage entrepreneurship and the act of saving. This we do, by organizing seminars, breakfast meetings and other platforms where we bring onboard experts and motivational speakers to give guidance and education, tips on growing your own business instead of always looking out for jobs out there which might not exist.
