YHF-OSIWA Launches TV/Drama Series

The Young Heart Foundation (YHF) in partnership with the Open Society Initiative for West Africa (OSIWA) launched a TV/Drama Series last week Friday at the Mensvic Grand Hotel. The series, “Breaking the Silence” aimed at reducing the abuse churned at women, children and vulnerable people in the country. Addressing audience at the launch, Norman Amidu, consultant and producer of the series, said the series was developed mainly to address negative issues and other inhumane vices women experience. He observed that the project came about as a result of a research carried out by YHF. “Through this research we discovered abuse against women was high especially in Africa hence putting this series together to educate,” he said. Young Heart Foundation donates to Madina Police Service

Accra, March 26, GNA The Young Heart Foundation (YHF) on Tuesday donated items worth GH¢ 23,875.90 to the Madina Police Service and three other social bodies. The others are Madina Social Welfare Department, YHF Vocational Training Beneficiaries and School Kids. The items are Generator, and set of Furniture for the Madina Police Service, Printer for the Madina Social Welfare, food items, cash, cooking oil and toiletries for the school kids and YHF Vocational Training Programme beneficiaries.
